SDI wins the prestigious international product design award "Design Award 2021" in the user interface category for the innovative eXPert HMI oE.

eXPert oE, the latest release of the SDI platform, introducing new technologies and features in the Industrial Automation sector.
2016
Remote Control System for the entire national TAF Eni-Syndial system for industrial groundwater treatment, consisting of a central SCADA, 14 plant SCADAs, a centralized Control Room, and interface systems with the Eni Green Data Center.
2015
Thanks to the implementation of Fiscal Measurement systems for the Bordolano gas plant (Stogit) and Remote Control for the Trans Mediterranean Pipeline (TMPC Ltd.) and Transitgas (Transitgas AG) pipelines, SDI now controls 70% of the total storage and transportation of natural gas passing through Italy.
2013
Supply of the SIAM system for acquiring fiscal measurements from the entire primary gas distribution network on behalf of Eni E&P.
2011
Transformation of the company from S.r.l. to S.p.A.
2010
First supplies of SCADA remote control and monitoring systems for renewable energy production plants and Country Control Rooms for Enel Green Power. The development of new installations continues today with plants in Italy, Romania, Chile, Panama, South Africa, and Peru.

Innovative application of the patented OxyFuzzy technology in the DCS system for controlling the Carini wastewater treatment plant, in collaboration with the University of Brescia.
2006
STS system for the centralized remote control of STOGIT gas storage facilities.
2003
First implementation of a remote-control system equipped with the eXPert LDS module for Leak Detection functions, as part of the Libyan Gas Transmission System project led by Eni Greenstream.

eXPert™ is born: a complete, open, and scalable Ecosystem designed by SDI to meet the needs of highly critical industrial plants.

Start of the development of the remote-control system for the national railway traffic network with UAS and nanoUAS RTUs for Ferrovie dello Stato (TSF/RFI), with ongoing deliveries.

Supply and installation of the remote-control system for public lighting in Milan on behalf of AEM Milano.

First orders for the development, design, and supply of equipment for monitoring and remote reading of data from the SNAM Rete Gas network (APS), continuing over the years with the supply of PIDA devices (2000-2016), RTU 3G (2008-2016), and UM-UM Leak (2016).

PSCS, the first version of the Automation, Control, and Supervision suite on a Data General/Digital platform based on RTOS/RSX11.
1979
Development of the first remote control systems for offshore platforms (Eni) and supervision of thermal power plants (Enel), with new installations continuing to this day.
