Marco Biancalana: 40 Years of SDI Pisa

This year marks a special milestone: 40 years since the founding of our Pisa office. To celebrate, we sat down with Marco Biancalana, SDI Senior Advisor, who took us on a journey through time, sharing the early steps of this extraordinary adventure.
Having witnessed the opening of SDI Pisa firsthand, Marco recalled not only the technical challenges of those early years but also the unique spirit that defined the environment—informal, youthful, and deeply collaborative.
